8:30am.
This is the time intensive Portuguese class begins. Intensive Portuguese class is every day. Intensive Portuguese class lasts until 13:00. Intensive Portuguese class is intensive.
Every day I need to take a van (or bus, taxi, horse, walk…or just sleep in) to a campus approximately 7.9 km away from my place of residence (check out the metric system for help with that one).

The good news about class is that they allow for a twenty-minute break to mingle with other students to discuss how exhausted you are from all the studying you’ve been doing every night (and if you’re lucky, to escape the second half of the day).
However, there is also açaí on the PUC-Rio campus which makes the illusion of a break, and the subsequent hours of additional class, a bit less detrimental to my spirit. But in case the sugary snack wasn’t enough, we also have the privilege of hosting omnipresent Jesuses all over campus (note the area above the blackboard).
I think the relationship between the two of us is about to get a lot more serious, I mean he is watching me pee, how can we not become intimate?
