Brazil Hikes

Your guide to the best hikes in Brazil.

Although not the first thing that most people imagine when they think of Brazil, there are plenty of mountains, forests, waterfalls, and trails to be explored around the country.

For those willing to look, Brazil has some incredible places to discover. In fact, some of my favorite spots in the world are hidden away along Brazil’s largely unknown and undiscovered hiking trails (Garganta do Céu – via the Pedra da Gávea alternate – go here).

As is the case with Japan, it’s a bit difficult to find English-language resources on hiking in Brazil, so I have begun to amass all of my knowledge here to share with you. Please, put it to use.

Any questions, comments, or suggestions? Be sure to get in touch.
