Introducing Halfway Anywhere Contributors, Because Diversity

By Mac Leave a Comment

The internet is a big place, and sometimes it can get lonely out here (even with all the hot local singles in my area).

For this reason, I have attempted to invite others to share their personal stories, misguided opinions, and/or aimless ramblings here on Halfway Anywhere (aka the number one resource in the world for all things worth existing, like this). Too often people tell me that they wish they had a blog or place to write, but getting one started is too much work (ever hear of Tumblr? Pretty sure it exists precisely for this reason).

Well, I have called these people out for a while now, but it isn't until now that someone has taken me up on the offer. Indie, a friend of mine from the Pacific Crest Trail, will be the first serious contributor to this experiment (which means it's up to him to show me this isn't a terrible idea).

Hooray, friends!
Hooray, friends!

Should more of my known associates decide that they too require an outlet to vent their frustrations with the world, then I hope to be able to share them with you too. What's that? You interested in somehow becoming involved with the site? Oh, no you aren't? Well good, because we probably can't work together. However, should this blunt and uncalled for bit of information not deter you, then go ahead and hit me up.

On a related note, I am also going to be receiving (hopefully) regular(ish) updates from our friend Mr. Appa The Sky Bison who is currently out on the PCT for a second tour of freedom. His updates will be posted to a page for which I have yet to invent a name for (suggestions welcome) somewhere in this mess of a website.

I am in the process of creating a contributors page that will play host to adventurer profiles and their content (and probably some cat photos). The first (of hopefully many) profiles will be up shortly.

As always, if you have any comments or suggestions, I would love to hear them!

Love,

Mac
