I continued my tradition of amateur photography in 2019 and I think I’ve managed to get some pretty good shots. That said, some of the best shots of the year come to us from @paulinadao. Hopefully, the trend of neat picture making and not dying continues in 2020.
This year’s photos are from Brazil, California, Colorado, Greece, Oregon, Wyoming, Washington.
If you’re feeling nice, do me a favor and leave a comment below to let me know which photos you like, which photos are just okay, and which photos you think are trash. I need to know where to invest picture-making time in 2020.
Love, Mac

Rio de Janeiro (and Brazil as a whole) has more to offer than simply the beach and caipirinhas (although there’s plenty of that, too).
A trip to Greece in May proved to be quite fateful in terms of determining what would happen for the rest of the year. Photo: @paulinadao

There was a lot of unseasonal precipitation in Southern California this year on the Pacific Crest Trail. Waking up to snow in Idyllwild was an interesting experience.
